Texas is thawing, the Northeast is freezing, and a sort of natural order seems almost restored to the Ist-A-Verse. Almost.

Halloween is Tuesday, which means this weekend is really the time for all of the –ists to celebrate. And whether they’re designing super-spooky costumes or talking about the super-spooky upcoming elections, we’d say that they’re doing a fine job of it.

We probably don’t need to explain that quote, but if we do, just know it’s from our first play in the listings. And hey, Philly theatre is back in full swing, now that PLAF is winding down. Now, on with the listings!

Yes, you read the headline right -- it was a pretty good night for Philadelphia basketball in the NBA Draft. Not as good as it could have been, but at the moment, we aren't complaining.

We're just going to jump right in to Elite -ist today. It's not that we don't love writing pithy introductions -- it's just that our headline has to do with our first post. And we wouldn't want to distract you.

Just after bragging about how we figured out all our internet woes, the internet in our temporary squat crapped out on us. Again. Tech support looked at our modem status and said "Oh, that's bad." So we're taking advantage of a library computer lab while we bring you the latest and greatest that our fellow -ists have posted since last we checked in!
