Not a big change, but still a big sexy demolition.

Local 234 management seems to have finally gotten what they wanted. The union's rank-and-file is expected to approve the agreement today. But with unemployment at over 10% nationally, and most people's raises and bonuses being reduced or cut entirely, how will the citizens of Philadelphia react to the new TWU contract? Leave us a comment and let us know your thoughts.
Listen, MSNBC. We know you were in a bit of shock about the whole Democrats-losing-elections thing (we're equal opportunity pundit haters around here), but don't you think you still could have maybe proofread your screen titles?
You may have caught this on our Twitter feed over the weekend, but after homering twice last night, we thought this love letter to Chase Utley was especially deserved.
We don't even need to say more. All aboard!!!
We have utmost confidence in our boys, but we could use a little less "one more game" talk. Our fists are bleeding from knocking wood.
In October, many local theatre companies try to put on a Halloween-related production. Brat Productions' Haunted Poe is the one we're most excited for this season.
We've already mentioned this story. And we likely will again. But seriously, look at this poor cat. Who does something like that? And don't most serial killers start with animals? Shudder.
Although most of the participants in the Philadelphia Naked Bike Ride weren't completely naked, some were. You do see full frontal in the first frame of this video (and later, too). We suggest waiting till you get home to watch, unless you have very open-minded coworkers or a very private office.
Our favorite weatherman does!
This is so much less entertaining when delivered by a weatherperson who doesn't shout at us. And since when was a beautiful day "the perfect way to kick off your workweek"? If we're going to be in the office and not outside, we want it to be miserable outside so we don't feel like we're missing anything.
We're just going to keep posting these until you demand we stop. And even then, we probably won't listen.
This gets a 1 for newsworthiness, but for cuteness, it just might go to 11.
We're developing an inexplicable obsession with Jim Kosek... Someone stop us, stat.
As tired as we might be of listening to politicians using September 11 to forward their agendas, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on where we were eight years ago today.
While infinitely more helpful, this meteorologist is so... boring.
Miss Bee already gave you the rundown on today's Blame-A-Thon, but we think it's an awesome event to support, so here's your second post for the day in support of @drew and #blamedrewscancer.
Two of our favorite things about the autumn weekends, now combined in one totally weird commercial. (Via Miss Bee, via Bleeding Green Nation.) And hey, new IHOP just opened at Juniper and Walnut!
Yes, we know we made a similar joke a while back. But it's just too easy here...
It seems like Memorial Day just happened, but Labor Day and therefore the unofficial end of summer is almost upon us. We here at Phillyist recommend enjoying what you've got left. And if you're planning on enjoying it while you're down the shore, we suggest you check out "The Show" at Showboat. We caught a few minutes of it during the Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival, and we definitely recommend checking it out before it closes September 7. After all, it's one of the cheapest things you can do at a casino!
Best. 5K. Ever.
A steaming hot pile of our favorite things from around the internets.
What's that? You started your weekend a little early and you're a bit hungover this morning? Well then, Meterologist Jim Kosek should probably wake you up.
A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.
...but VHS still did.
The best of the internet, squirted out in flavorful neon globules, just for you.
A feline is a feline. This cougar acts exactly like the Phillyist fosters at naptime.
