The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you. Some big awards and award nominations came out yesterday and this morning. We've got the Golden Tomatoes (via Jill) from Rotten Tomatoes, celebrating the highest rated films of 2007, the Razzie nominations, honoring the worst movies of 2007, and finally, some little dinky awards called the Oscars. Meanwhile, video games, not to be left out, are getting yet......

The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment. While we were watching Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles last night (which, btw, was surprisingly good), we saw a cool Dell commercial with a kick-ass soundtrack, and a quick Google search turned up the video, and the important information that the awesome song is a new, original track from Devo! Sweet. Elijah Wood said some interesting things about the upcoming Hobbit......

The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment. Filter has released their list of the overall Top Ten Albums of 2007, as well as a bunch of supplementary top 10 albums by their staff. Mostly unsurprising indie rock of the moment picks, but some interesting stuff. And hey these remind us of other lists we've seen lately... (Via Samantha) We couldn't care less about the upcoming reality show Clash......

The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment. Who knew there was an annual symposium for cocktail robotics? Apparently it's called Roboexotica, it's been around for nine years, it just happened again weekend before last, and Wired has the photos. (Via Jill) This past weekend an auction of items formerly belonging to Ozzy Osbourne and his family raked in a lot of cash, with all the proceeds going to......

A steaming hot pile of our favorite things from around the internets. As we did in our news post, let's get all the holiday-related stuff out of the way first: just in time for Thanksgiving, Cinematical finally announced the winners of their Halloween costume contest (definitely not our favorites, but we never got around to voting, so we guess it's our own fault). They also have a list of Seven Movie Characters They'd Hate to......

The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment. Toren Atkinson (of the Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, our favorite Canadian band that bases all its songs on the work of H.P. Lovecraft) has had a number of entertaining posts lately on his blog. Here's a list he put together of all the great stuff that's going to be on TCM this month. And here's a commercial he did a......

The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment. Apparently there will be a hotel in space in 5 years. A three day stay will cost you a cool $4 million. As you may have noticed from past postings, we're pretty big fans of The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets. Reading lead singer Toren Atkinson's blog this morning, we had these observations: Supercthonic would be an awesome title for an......

The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you. List time: The Top 10 Geekiest Yarn Creations on the Web. We've only seen one of these before, as far as we can remember, and they're all pretty clever. (Via) Penny Arcade continues to be funny. We are pleased. We don't know if it's "Pulitzer-caliber" like it claims (actually, we're hoping that's a joke), but this site, entitled......
