Has anyone else felt a little dirty watching the Olympics the last couple weeks? I mean, Michael Phelps's Phelpsian (as opposed to Phelpsian) performance was nothing short of stellar, Usain Bolt is the kind of cocky freak of nature athlete that you can't like but can't stop watching, and you literally can't beat Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Trainer. But there's been a big cloud over these Olympics—the kind that hasn't really been there since, oh, I don't know, the 1936 Berlin games. (Notwithstanding the Munich tragedy. That was a whole other kettle of fish.)

• Gothamist found that an explosive set off outside the Times Square army recruiting center may be similar to five past bombings in New York City.
• Seattlest worried when severed right feet and bottles of rat poison started washing up on local beaches.
• Shanghaiist was surprised by Bjork's rooting for Tibetan independence at her concert (see video), and the political fallout has only just begun.

What's new and/or interesting in Philly theaters this weekend.

Today is National High Five Day (in addition to another, unofficial, holiday that Phillyist really shouldn't endorse). We just wanted to tell all of you ahead of time, because if you run into a Phillyist writer or editor on the street, and they greet you with a hand in the air, they're not trying to hit you, but rather to tell you: "hey, good job, you rock!"
