No, not the kind that your parents made you get to earn extra money as a kid, but the kind that will be playing at Festival Pier at Penn's Landing tonight. Paper Route (MySpace) is the opening band on Paramore's Summer Riot tour, and the Philadelphia stop happens to be on this fine Friday. Rain be damned! The band recently released an EP, . And the buzz around them is phenomenal. They've drawn comparisons to The Postal Service. It's kind of there, but based on the admittedly few Paper Route songs we've heard, we think the more appropriate comparison is to another Nashville-based band who's in town this weekend (and who has an eerily similar name), Paper Rival. I have a crush… on a song. This is actually a common occurrence in my life. I love music. I have music playing at all times. I cannot be in my apartment without it on. I can’t drive without music (or be driven somewhere without it). Even when I hate the CD we have to listen to at work, I want it on. This need, coupled with my innate neuroses, means that I often find songs I just can’t stop listening to.
