The Cowboys beat the Bills last night,* OJ Simpson is in jail, and Dana Carvey is actually doing stuff again. This may have nothing (at all!) to do with Philadelphia, but we figured it was time to take a trip in the wayback machine with something that at least combines two of those three things.

We had hope, but that hope is gone. With four minutes left, the Eagles were beating the Cowboys 20 - 7. They lost the game, 21 - 20. A soft prevent defense allowed the Cowboys to drive the field in a minute and close the gap.

We've read all of the negative columns and blog posts. We've bashed just about every Eagle to our friends. We've listened to WIP so much that we think we'd be better off just flogging ourselves.

The Eagles were beaten soundly yesterday by the Dallas Cowboys, 33-10, in Dallas. While some Birds fans were hoping for a comeback similar to last week's victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, there was no miracle comeback resting in the Eagles this week.
