Last night, to celebrate St. Patrick's day properly, I feasted upon corned beef and cabbage. Cabbage, as you probably know, is one of those vegetables that can make you really popular in places like the grocery store and your yoga class, right up there with beans, cheese, and soda. And that got me to thinking: while I've written a Foodsday Tuesday post about poop, its cleaner and more sanitary first cousin, the fart, hasn't......

The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you. Sad and shocking news: Anthony Minghella has died. No news yet on the cause of death. He was 54. (Via Sarah) Perhaps due to recent incidents of effeminate violence (via), some states are still trying to stop the sale of adult-themed video games to minors. The question is, how was he then able to start the car? A police......

St. Patrick's Day is a day of hard-core drinking, but we often are hard pressed to find inventive green drinks that don’t use (gag) crème de menthe. The following tasty drink, which was the result of staying too late in a bar years ago, was one of the few I tasted that was created in honor of the day and stays respectful to taste buds and—bonus!—no hangovers or green tongues from cheaply dyed liqueur. The......

The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment. What happens when you cross Peanuts with Watchmen? Disturbing images and text, that's what. (Via Yagathai) On March 19th, the cast of Battlestar Galactica will be presenting the Top Ten List on David Letterman. A couple of half hour BG specials will air 3/28 at 10PM, and then the first real new episode of the fourth and final season will show......

A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you. WHYY is getting together with Bassetts Ice Cream to create a new ice cream flavor, but they're asking YOU to help. The question is, if WHYY were ice cream, what would it taste like? Submit your ideas for a new flavor based on WHYY to icecream@whyy.org. The only guidelines for the contest are that flavors be developed around chocolate and vanilla. Also, all......
