Combining social activism with larger-than-life puppetry has made the organization a neighborhood favorite in, well, many neighborhoods in the city, seeing as how their folks partner with the community to put on fantastic parades and pageants.

Try not to panic - but the dreaded pink, red and doily-clad holiday, St. Valentine's, is only a week away. The program starts at 8PM, and costs $8 ($5 for students).

You’ve probably seen some of their beautiful giant puppets around the city, either at protests, museums, or schools. But what they’re best known for are their pageants and parades, which seek to bring people together in celebrating their neighborhoods and their city.
