Dear Scrabulous:

DCist reports, and we're confirming from our own sad, personal experience, that Facebook today removed Scrabulous, the popular Scrabble-like application, from their website at the behest (more like a suit) of Hasbro. We'd mentioned a couple months ago that Hasbro and Mattel were trying to shut down Scrabulous, and it sadly looks like they've now succeeded. The game is still available at Scrabulous.com, but the convenient workday time-waster on Facebook is gone for the foreseeable future. Leave us a comment and let us know what you'll be doing now that your favorite app is no more.
