A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you. Even though Will Arnett's performance as the voice of K.I.T.T. in the upcoming Knight Rider TV movie was already done and in the can, he's now been replaced with Val Kilmer due to a conflict of interest: Arnett has done voicework on GMC truck commercials for over a decade, and K.I.T.T. is a Ford Mustang. This sounds like a joke, but it's apparently......

What's new and/or interesting in Philly theaters this weekend My Kid Could Paint That - A documentary about child painter Marla Olmstead, and the questions about aesthetics that her story brings to the forefront. She and her family went on a rollercoaster ride of fame and infamy. Her paintings were hailed as great works of abstract expressionism by some, and started selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars. She appeared on many national news programs.......

3:10 to Yuma is another entry in Hollywood's current favorite genre: the remake. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately, depending on how you look at such things), I can't compare it to the original, as I've never seen it. What's new and/or interesting on TV this week. Nature (Mon, 8PM-9PM, PBS [WNJS]) - In this episode of the venerable PBS nature show, narrated by F. Murray Abraham, reptile expert Ron Whitaker actually goes looking for giant crocodiles - those are crocodiles that are over 20 feet in length! That's one of those things we'd never do, but are more than happy to watch someone else do. The episode description mentions that he succeeds in......

A steaming hot pile of our favorite things from around the internets. It's an interesting idea, and we'll certainly give it a chance when it comes out, but we're still a little weirded out by the idea of a revisionist Robin Hood story wherein Hood is little more than a common thief and the Sheriff of Nottingham is actually a pretty decent guy. Russell Crowe as the Sheriff makes it a little more palatable. Enjoy......

What's new and/or interesting at Philly theaters this weekend. American Hardcore - A documentary film adaptation of a book by Steven Blush, this is a look at the wave of popular and influential anti-establishment punk (is that redundant?) bands that arose during the Reagan era - including Minor Threat, The Circle Jerks, Black Flag, and the Dead Kennedys. Awesome. We don't see how this could be bad. Trailer Showing at: Ritz at the Bourse Copying......
