It'll probably be pouring tonight, but so what? The temperatures are on the rise, Daylight Savings Time starts again on Sunday, and it's time to get this Spring started! Where better than at First Friday? Here are our top three picks.

Sure, you can wander through art gallery after art gallery tonight. The same places you always go, with the same cheap wine you always drink. Or, you can take advantage of the fact that there's always a First Friday during the Live Arts and Fringe Festivals, and there are plenty of free or pay-what-you-can PLAF events you can hit tonight and for the next week. A few that we think sound interesting:

I've seen the "eyes without a face" sticker in various places around the city recently, but this particular placement really struck me, as did the colors, filth, and destruction evident here. I took this photo on my way to work, between 11th and 12th on Race Street. Click through for more.

The Please Touch Museum, insistent that "Halloween is too much fun to celebrate in just one day," is offering family-friendly Halloween events throughout the month of October. Activities include the messy "Make Your Oobleck, the civic-minded," "Hero Dress Up," a presentation of "There's a Monster Under My Bed", a seasonal snack of spice tea and jack-o-lanterns and more.
