We don't have to tell you that it's almost Thanksgiving. We can tell by that look of dread on your face that you're already anticipating a brawl with the in-laws or an endless evening of Uncle Jim-Bob recounting war stories while you battle indigestion and tryptophan-induced sluggishness.

Sometimes, you get invited to a party that doesn't ask you to RSVP. But those are few and far between. More often than not, hosts of parties want, nay, need, to know who will be coming.

, a new(ish) magazine that had recently moved its headquarters to the City of Brotherly Love. We've since grown to really dig the magazine and the issues it tackles—specifically, addressing the problems faced by urban areas and then discussing how to make cities better for generations to come.

Need a hug? Want to snuggle? Not particular if you do those things with strangers? (Or would you like to learn not to care if you don't know your cuddle partner?) Well, the Cuddle Party in KOP this weekend may be just your thing. From the Cuddle Party website:

Cuddle Party is a playful social event designed for adults to explore communication, boundaries and affection. Facilitated by a "Cuddle Lifeguard on Duty," who creates a comfortable, non-threatening environment, it's a great place to make new friends and to learn about yourself.

Now, you might be thinking to yourself that "exploring communication, boundaries and affection" with strangers sounds like the aftermath of some parties you'd like to forget - but Cuddle Parties are alcohol free, non-sexual events (seriously) - so there's little danger of a hangover and awkward morning-after introduction. Honestly, Phillyist isn't too sure where we stand on the organized cuddling of perfect strangers, but we are pro any event that requires the wearing of pajamas. If we were allowed, we'd spend our whole life in pajamas, cuddled up or no. Cuddle Party
