On Monday night, I went on a trek through town. I eventually ended up in the Wawa near Second and South (by Headhouse Square). After paying for my hot chocolate and waiting for a friend to finish in line, I saw a notebook.

On Monday, October 30th (that's two weeks from today) the first edition of the Northern Liberties' story slam will be taking place at Standard Tap (901 N. 2nd St.) at 7PM. The contest is currently searching for "Storytellers, fiction writers and BS artists" to make up their ten contestants. Contestants will have five minutes in which to tell their story, and will be judged by the audience based on both their "delivery and substance."
