- Philadelphia Will Do breaks the story that isn't a really a story (or is it?): despite an incriminating item in his Wikipedia entry (an item which no longer appears), local ABC affiliate news anchor Jim Gardner (aka James Goldman) was not arrested in New York for solicitation. Philadelphia Will Do's inevitable question: Who's out to get Jim Gardner?

• The Philadelphia branch of the Paul Green School of Rock has numerous music videos on YouTube.  Above is their rendition of Sweet Transvestite from Rocky Horror.
• Only Partially Insane creates a musical movie meme about the best get-up-and-dance moments.  (Why did no one tell Phillyist that Hugh Grant shook his thang in Love, Actually?  We might have bothered to have seen it if we knew...)
• Brad at Philly Future is pleased to see Y100 is coming back to the airwaves...by way of XPN.

We don't know if there's something in the water, but (not to put too fine a point on it), "poo" seems to be a running theme on Philly blogs this week:

- Philly (by way of Metroblogging Philadelphia) points out that according to GoVeg.com, Philadelphia is the 9th most vegetarian friendly city in the US. This comes as a little bit of a shock to us, as we often find ourselves scrambling for good places to dine with our less carnivorous friends. However, searching vegguide.org shows us that there are 27 veggie friendly eateries within one mile of our own zipcode (including the very tasty Govinda's Cafe). We'll have to be careful - with so many vegetarian options around, we might find ourselves accidentally eating better - which would do a huge disservice to the local burger joints.
