Ten Reasons to Hate Arizona

Most of the national hype about this weekend’s Conference Championship Games has been about the Steelers and the Ravens, and understandably so. There’s nothing like two division rivals meeting in the playoffs with a championship bid on the line. Think Yankees-Red Sox ALCS games or Flyers-Penguins Eastern Conference Finals. It’s simply the highest of high drama punctuated by vitriol and hatred built up over an entire regular season or, in some cases, whole generations.

Passing The Happy Point

“The Eagles probably won't win the Super Bowl, but there's no reason not to get pumped for the possibility and gather with friends and hot wings to cheer them on this Sunday.”

At this point, all bets are off. Regardless of the roller-coaster season they've had, the Eagles are fun to root for again.

  • The employees of the Occupational Training Center in Mount Holly saved Christmas for one family. Faith Tyler, the daughter of an assistant project manager at the center, suffers from kidney failure. The family was struggling to pay the bills and Faith's illness had forced her father to take a leave of absence from work. His colleagues responded overwhelmingly - they pulled together and different departments "adopted" each of his five children. They bought gifts from each child's Christmas list. Faith Tyler said it was the best Christmas ever, except it didn't snow.
