So, despite all the hoopla (evacucations, power loss, traffic headaches, etc.) yesterday, Center City did not blow-up. As of this writing, there doesn't seem to be a final official word on what caused the underground explosion, but from the accounts we've been reading, it seems to have been a PECO-related issue. So far, we've (thankfully) only seen one mention of a minor injury, and at least one person on the Philadelphia Live Journal group......
