Her day was not going well. When we first spoke, we both agreed that “aging is a bitch." Aging might be a bitch, but Susana Mayer is certainly not. For forty-five minutes we conversed about all things erotic, but the conversation’s tone was not at all erotic. Through laughs, coughs, and stories of her past I got to know Ms. Mayer.

The Philadelphia Turkey lauded the Parkway-crossing antics of a local resident. Brave, or crazy? You decide.

Do you have a fever? A fever for erotica?

Do you all stay in your apartments and houses weeping of boredom when we leave you hanging? Do you sit at home bleary-eyed, wondering just what it is that you can't miss? We hate to hurt you, and we'll never do it again. Until the next time.

We're gonna have a great day Sunday, and we really hope you join us for it. As you've heard by now, we're going to be liveblogging the Barking Beauty pageant. And from there, we're gonna be making our way to the TLA... err, Fillmore at the TLA... for the Mae show.

But in 2006, the pageant packed up shop and moved to Atlantic City: The Sequel Las Vegas, leaving our region (Atlantic City's not that far!) without the glitz and glamor that only fifty-two (one for every state, plus D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands) leggy ladies in swimsuits could provide.
