Last night, Phillyist went to the Free Library for the kick-off of the 215 Festival - "a showcase for performers that are as smartly engaging as a book and authors that are as fun to watch as a band." That's a fair description of the frivolity we caught at the Free Library last night - John Hodgman (who is not married to a Griffin) taught us all about the great Hobo rebellion; Jonathan Coulton proved, beyond a doubt, that he's a much better singer than Darius Rucker; David Rees (who knows his ABCs) agitated the crowd and encouraged screaming in the library; and Amy Sedaris taught us how to behave at a party (and how to make sure your free-loading pets earn a viable income).
