Philly art scenes are nothing if not eclectic, as the opening of KYL/D’s new dance center in the Italian Market demonstrates. First, there’s the variety of dance on offer: their open house this Sunday includes performances of flamenco, salsa, and Bollywood/Bhangra Indian dancing. The open house also celebrates the completion of two murals, 45 feet worth, by Isaiah Zagar, who will also be in attendance with his team of artisan collaborators. In addition to the works and shmoozing, you’ll be able to check out the classes that will be offered, and wish the good folks at the non-profit well with a small donation.
