We know it's Labor Day weekend and all, but man, there's some bad juju going around the Philadelphia area today. Our Asshole of the Week was just the tip of the iceberg.

  • Barack Obama's wife, Michelle Obama, was apparently well received when she spoke at a rally at Haverford College yesterday. A new Daily News/Franklin & Marshall poll has Clinton still in the lead with 46% support among likely Democratic voters, but Obama is closing in behind with 40% (14% are still undecided). As we mentioned yesterday, the candidates will be holding a debate tonight at the National Constitution Center, and the Daily News expects the sparks to fly. Oh, and don't forget those traffic restrictions.

    Yes, it's back! Classical music concerts have returned to Philadelphia after a much-deserved break. Get excited for the upcoming year.

    We always get a little sad when the main classical music season ends and all the musicians go to their fun summer festivals. But, this can only mean that the Mann Center's season is just around the corner!

    The spring concert season is upon us. From choral, to avant-garde chamber groups, many local groups seem to have something to play. In addition, Bach-o-rama (aka the Bach Festival of Philadelphia) still continues, with a full list of events here.

  • A couple of crazy bastards parachuted down off the Comcast Center Sunday morning. Of course, as is requisite these days when you do something stupid and dangerous, a video was taken and promptly posted on YouTube (although sadly, it has since been taken down). Police are looking for the guys, whom they plan to charge with "criminal trespassing, reckless endangerment and risking a catastrophe."
