  • The state has filed a civil suit against a Chestnut Hill-based dating service called Great Expectations for lying to its customers - promising events that never happened and products that were never received. The service wasn't cheap either - members paid thousands of dollars. If you feel you were wronged by Great Expectations, call 1-800-441-2555. (Btw, we're amused that the owner of this service lives in this Phillyist's home town - Sewell, NJ.)
