The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment. While we were watching Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles last night (which, btw, was surprisingly good), we saw a cool Dell commercial with a kick-ass soundtrack, and a quick Google search turned up the video, and the important information that the awesome song is a new, original track from Devo! Sweet. Elijah Wood said some interesting things about the upcoming Hobbit......

Okay. Movie snob here. Seriously. Give me subtitles. Give me handheld cameras. Give me just about anything playing at one of the Ritz theatres. But once in a while? Give me a cartoon. About animals. Something where the characters are so cute that you want to jump through the movie screen into the film, and cuddle with them. That’s what Happy Feet is. One hour and forty-five minutes of adorableness. Singing, dancing penguins. Fluffy......

What's new and/or interesing in Philly theaters this weekend. Fast Food Nation - We wouldn't have figured in a million years that someone would think to adapt an expose of the fast food industry into a fictional drama, but that is exactly what's happened here. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the writer/director of this odd film is oddball Richard Linklater who, judging by his filmography, will try anything once. We can't call ourselves a Linklater fan, but we're......

If you ever visit the Ukraine, you can only hope you’ll have a tour guide like the Alex, the hipster American-culture junkie and the “very premium” narrator of Everything is Illuminated, adapted from Jonathan Safran Foer's award-winning novel by the first-time director Liev Schreiber (who already has a substantial resume as an actor). Eugene Hutz, front man of the Brooklyn gypsy-punk outfit Gogol Bordello, plays Alex with an easy hangdog charm, beleaguered by his domineering......
