Phillyist is a particular fan of José González, whom we discovered, believe it or not, while watching a really cool commercial. He's mainly a guitar and a voice, but those two things together have a beautiful, mellow pop sound. González also just got signed by Mute Records, and his latest album, the fantastic Veneer, is going to be rereleased on April 4th. See him now so you can say you were into him before he was cool.
