Last Friday night, the Black Lily Film and Musical Festival's Opening Concert stayed good from the second it started. The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you. What's with everybody dying lately? We lost science fiction author Octavia Butler (via) and goofy comedic actor Don Knotts on Friday, and then on Saturday, TV and character actor Darren McGavin passed away. Depressing stuff. On the positive side, maybe this will be a good excuse for a retrospective of all their best work...although hopefully not mashed together.......
