The Franklin Institute wants to know what you think about their IMAX films and rather than hound you on the street for change and your thoughts on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, they're going to let you in for free. The Franklin Institute will show a movie each night at 8:15 pm from Monday, September 12 to Thursday September 15. The only requirements: you have to make a reservation (by calling 215-448-1231 from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday) in order to see the film and you have to fill out a survey after seeing the film.
Tonight at North3rd (3rd and Brown Streets in Northern Liberties), Skeletor - professional thorn in He-Man's side turned stagebound crooner - will be perfoming for your free listening pleasure. We're usually disappointed when we leave movies during the summer. After all of the hype and the stories and the fluff interviews, we think that, hey, it's not their fault that the movie's being overhyped. Maybe this is a diamond in the rough.
