The XPoNential Music Festival kicks off tonight at Wiggins Park on the Camden Waterfront. Featured acts will include The Blind Boys of Alabama, Beth Orton, Alejandro Escovedo, Amos Lee, Ingrid Michaelson, and Joan Osborne. (Remember her? We do, too!) Tickets are available for $25 a day ($17 for XPN Members) or $60 for a four-day pass ($40 for XPN members) online or at the door.
The weeks starts out right when a sucker punch on the field lands Chicagoist in the middle of a Sox/Cubs throwdown and the fists continue to fly in the comments. Despite suburban resident Ms. Pinney's best little try no books will be banned anytime soon and the El is really really gross.
As you may or may not know, this past weekend (3/19-3/21) was Camden Waterfront Attraction Blogging Days, wherein 200 or so local bloggers, having applied and been accepted, were invited to visit, for free, each of the three big Camden Waterfront attractions (the Battleship NJ, Campbell's Field, and the Adventure Aquarium) and blog their fair and unbiased impressions. Phillyist was one of those bloggers, so here's part three of a three-part series covering our weekend adventures.
