The saga of CBS 3’s Alycia Lane continues. She has been divorced twice, appeared on Dr. Phil, was romantically linked to WCBS anchor Chris Wragge, and of course infamously sent bikini photos to a married man. All of this seemed to make her one of the darlings of the New York Post’s Page Six column of late.

What's new and/or interesting in Philly theaters this weekend.
Phillyist, ever the optimist, chooses to see the glass of Philadelphia as half-full. The Van Alen Institute, on the other hand, sees it as mostly empty, and they’re psyched. A New York-based organization whose mission is to improve public architecture and design, along with Philadelphia’s LandVisions, have made Philadelphia the subject of their “Urban Voids” competition, which challenges architects and designers to figure out what the hell to do with the more than 40,000 vacant properties that cover over 1,000 acres of this town. The intent is to foster designs that integrate the city’s surprisingly interesting ecological traits with the extant architectural milieu, as well as encouraging new construction plans that bridge the two.
