Beautiful morning, isn't it? But the clouds are rolling in again, as the region prepares to break a record for consecutive days of rain for this time of year.
Also announced yesterday were the Franklin Institute awards; the Inquirer has a profile of one of the honorees. (Btw, did you see that the Franklin Institute is just calling itself "The Franklin" now? What's up with that?)
"The fate of the city's public golf courses is in the hands of City Council today in a hearing to examine a proposed contract to run them and, hopefully, improve them." Well, it's good to know City Council is taking care of the really important things...
