- In Allentown, jury selection occurred today in the civil lawsuit against Charles Cullen, a former nurse who admitted to killing 29 patients. (The suit was brought by the families of eight of Cullen's victims.) Trial begins tomorrow.
- The Eagles aren't going to release Michael Vick, as reports indicate that the team will pay Vick a $1.5 million roster bonus due tomorrow. The Birds will either hold on to Vick, or shop him in the trade market.
- In other Eagles news, the team signed wide receiver Jason Avant to a five-year deal worth up to $18 million.
