PAWS Cat of the Week

Jimmy (PAWS Cat of the Week, 11/24/09) PAWS is in constant need of support, both personal and financial. Click through for information on volunteering, fostering, or making a donation. If you have specific questions about fostering, you can e-mail the PAWS foster parent coordinator Robin at robin@phillypaws.org.

And don't forget—Phillyist still has two of the Phillyist fosters who are looking for a forever home!

Jimmy (ID# A08242414)

Jimmy is a dapper one to two-year-old tuxedo cat who has been at the PAWS Adoption Center for far too long—since December 31, 2008. He's got a little bit of an independent streak, but does want a human who will know when he wants to be pet and loved. This Thanksgiving, Jimmy would certainly be grateful to get out of his cage and into a forever home where he roam and relax. He's FELV/FIV/Heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his shots, so there's nothing holding him back from jumping into being a permanent pet for you.

If you'd like more information about Jimmy, e-mail alamond@phillypaws.org. You can find Jimmy at the PAWS Adoption Center, which is located at 100 N. 2nd Street (the corner of 2nd and Arch). Also, make note of Jimmy's ID number above, and bring it with you when you go to the adoption center. Adoption hours are Mon.-Sat., 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sun., 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
