Phillyist Framed Returns!

Hey photobugs, are you ready for Phillyist Framed 2010? Well, here's your heads up. Our wildly successful photography competition is back for another go-round in January. We'll see you back at Studio 34 in West Philly with more of everything. More entries, more judges, more fun! Starting next week we're going to ask you to submit your best Photoist-type creations for a chance to exhibit at a week-long gallery show. (Yes, you will be able to price and sell your work!) Plus, this year our special guest judges will be selecting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

We'll post the full rules, entry form, and judges on Monday, November 30th, but rest assured, the rules will look very much like those from Photoist 2008. If you don't have a Flickr account already, get one now. Subject matter is open, but remember, submitting photographers do need to live in and shoot within the Philadelphia metro area. All entries will be due by Wednesday, December 30th, so you'll have an entire month to decide which images are your best.

Last year we received almost 200 amazing submissions. Ultimately, only 24 pieces made it up onto the Studio 34 walls. This time we want you to be one of the few! Now, ready, set, shoot—Phillyist Framed 2010 opens on Friday, January 29th from 7-9 p.m.
