- The Philadelphia Parking Authority will expand cab service to work throughout the city during the Local 234 strike.

- Philly could save up to $15 million per year if it eliminated four elected offices. The Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority said that the independently elected "row offices" could be replaced by city agencies or within the court system.
