- Philly could save up to $15 million per year if it eliminated four elected offices. The Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority said that the independently elected "row offices" could be replaced by city agencies or within the court system.
- What happens when everyone stays home from work or school with the flu? Let's hope it's not an Internet meltdown because of high rates of absenteeism and everyone using the Internets at home.
- The Phillies hopped a 3:30 PM Amtrak train bound for New York City. The Fightins are back in action tomorrow night against the boys in pinstripes.
