Who let the birds out? Ray Lewis, that's who. Denver doesn't stand a chance.

Seattle (+9.5) over DALLAS
I'm not buying Dallas. I like Seattle coming off of the bye week. Elizabeth Hasselbeck's brother-in-law has a spectacular game.

Cleveland (+13.5) over CHICAGO
I don't trust the Bears. I also don't trust the Man Genius, but I'll take nearly two touchdowns when the Bears didn't score one until garbage time last week.

DETROIT (-3.5) over St. Louis
Detroit claims its second win in as many years except both came this year. St. Louis runs the table in reverse.

INDIANAPOLIS (-11.5) over San Francisco
I will not bet against the Colts this year. You can't make the line high enough. Alex Smith implodes faster than Three Rivers Stadium.

Houston (-3.5) over BUFFALO
Houston is just better than Buffalo. It's insane that if Buffalo wins they have the same record. That won't happen. Harvard will not beat the University of Virginia. Go Hoos!

Miami (+3.5) over NY JETS
Rex Ryan, of all people, should not speak out against eating hot dogs. If you look like you've eaten 98479234 hot dogs in the past three years you have no room to talk. There won't be any hot dogging it this weekend. Miami sweeps the season series against the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets.

NY Giants (+2.5) over PHILADELPHIA
Sorry, Philadelphia. If it means anything to you, I'm picking the Phillies. Only one Philadelphia team is going to win on Sunday. The Gints [sic] aren't going to lose two in a row.

TENNESSEE (-3.5) over Jacksonville

SAN DIEGO (-16.5) over Oakland

Favre's homecoming turns out bad for the Vikes. Forecast: Cloudy with a 99% chance of Boos. Outcome: The emotions get to Favre and for the first time in his illustrious career he doesn't overcome a ridiculous obstacle.

ARIZONA (-9.5) over Carolina
No brainer pick of the week. Carolina's offense is driven by the run. Arizona's defense is in the top 5 in the NFL against the run. They can't find Larry Fitzgerald anywhere on the field. He lives in the end zone on Sunday.

Atlanta (+9.5) over NEW ORLEANS
A shoot out in the Big Easy on Monday night. N'awlins wins by seven. That doesn't cover the spread.
