And don't forget—Phillyist still has two of the Phillyist fosters who are looking for a forever home!

Mildred (ID# A08863768)

Mildred is an adorable 3 year old white-and-brindle Pitty mix. She's had a little bit of a rough life and has been bred a bit, so she's looking for a peaceful home where she can relax—in your lap, if you let her. Mildred is a medium energy dog who will need a daily walk. She could still use some work on her leash training, but she is food motivated, which should help with training her on the leash and other basic obedience. Mildred gets along okay with submissive male dogs her size (~50lbs.), but she shouldn't be in a home with cats or small dogs.

If you'd like more information about Mildred, e-mail alamond@phillypaws.org. You can find Mildred at the PAWS Adoption Center, which is located at 100 N. 2nd Street (the corner of 2nd and Arch). Also, make note of Mildred's ID number above, and bring it with you when you go to the adoption center. Adoption hours are Mon.-Sat., 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sun., 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
