The third annual PAWS Mutt Strut will be held on October 31 at FDR Park. Show off your favorite canine companion, or meet and strut with a PAWS dog in need of a forever home. All money raised goes to support PAWS's incredible, life-saving work. Click through for details and registration!
And don't forget—Phillyist still has two of the Phillyist fosters who are looking for a forever home!
Scott (ID# A07581829)
Scott is a one and a half year old orange tabby who PAWS rescued from a high-kill shelter back in May. He's a sweet boy and has been at the PAWS Adoption Center way too long, so he's really eager for a happy forever home. Scott has a luxating patella that causes him to walk with a limp at times, but he's not in any pain and his condition hasn't gotten any worse in the time that he's been at PAWS. Scott is litter trained, and he gets along with other cats and seems to get along with children—so he's really ready-made for housepet life.
If you'd like more information about Scott, e-mail alamond@phillypaws.org. You can find Scott at the PAWS Adoption Center, which is located at 100 N. 2nd Street (the corner of 2nd and Arch). Also, make note of Scott's ID number above, and bring it with you when you go to the adoption center. Adoption hours are Mon.-Sat., 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sun., 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
