- The Phightin's outlasted the Rockies in the cold last night for a 6-5 victory, capped by Ryan Howard's RBI sac fly and—wait for it—a non-blown save by Brad Lidge. The Phillies will try to close out the series and move on to the NLCS tonight.



I randomly woke up at 2am and turned the tv on to see a 6-5 score and Lidge coming to the mound for the bottom of the 9th. I thought for a minute I was having a nightmare. And then as I watched with my stomach in knots, he actually made the save. After checking for a second time that I wasn't dreaming I went back to sleep a happy camper.
