• Movie Monday at the Troc Balcony presents Observe and Report starring Seth Rogan as a semi-psycho mall security guard. This is pre-Green Hornet weight loss, people. Because a thin mall security guard isn't nearly as funny as a pudgy one. Get there before 7 p.m. and score yourself a free beer and bag of popcorn. Otherwise your $3 entry fee goes toward the beverage or snack of your chosing. Doors at 6:30. 21+ as always.
• Big Deal Event Alert: The 15th Annual Barrymore Awards are being handed out at Walnut Street Theatre tonight. This prestigeous ceremony honors the best of the best of the Philadelphia theatre community from the 2009 Season. Contact the Theatre Alliance (michelle@theatrealliance.org OR call 215.413.7150) for last minute ticket information, but beware: tickets to party with the awesome award-winning (and nominated) theatre people will cost you a pretty penny. Or many.
