• Dr. Watsons Pub (216 S. 11th St.) hosts open mic night tonight (upstairs; Quizzo is downstairs, as listed below). Tonight will also include a special showcase of local folky rock outfit Don't Touch Me, OK. Sign-ups begin at 8, performances start at 9. 21+.
• The Quick & Easy Boys (MySpace), a Portland, Oregon-based trio that blends honky tonk, punk, and funk into one cohesive sound, will headline at Millcreek Tavern (4200 Chester Ave.) tonight. Also performing are The Powder Kegs (MySpace), Streaks of Light, and The Devil's Horn Kills the Matador. 9 p.m., 21+, free.
• Our good friend Chip Chantry is headlining the Philly All-Star Show at Helium Comedy Club (2031 Sansom St.) tonight. Joining Chip in bringing the laughs tonight will be locals Steve Gerben, Chris Cotton, and Conrad Roth. 8 p.m. Call (215) 496-9001 for ticket information.
