Get ready to paint the town, Philly! Tonight is the opening night of Chicago: The Musical at the Academy of Music. As the show's beginning warns: "You are about to see a story of murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery and treachery. All the things we hold near and dear to our hearts."

We're most curious to see talk-show host Jerry Springer in the role of Billy Flynn, a lawyer with dubious ethics. But really, who better to play the ringleader in Chicago's media circus? We're not going to start the "Jer-RY! Jer-RY!" chant... but make no mistake, we'll be thinking about it.

Check back tomorrow for a review of the show!
