Instead of running our normal Asshole of the Week column today, we're taking a break from enumerating things that go wrong in the world. This week, we're going to tell you about the Awesomest Most Awesometastical Thing of the Week.
So, Ashton Kutcher has a Twitter Feed. More people follow him than CNN. Most of the time, this causes a disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices cried out and then were suddenly silenced. But today it's actually kind of cool—because—Ashton Kutcher was in town last week, and when he strolled through Rittenhouse Square, he came upon a kid playing the violin. He stopped, took a brief video and linked it to Twitter. Thousands of people watched it, and then, because it's really really good, so did thousands more. (In fact you should go watch it right now.) A search went up to find the mystery fiddler, and NBC10 sussed it out yesterday.
He's 13-year-old North Philly resident Justus Rivera. "I'm famous?" he said with shy surprise Thursday. Justus credits his mad violin skills to hours of warming up his fingers on Guitar Hero, but it might also have something to do with his general musical dedication. He also plays trumpet, bongos, piano, guitar, drums, and the xylophone at the Girard Academic Music Program, a magnet school in South Philly. On the day he was videotaped on the sly, he was just doing what he does every couple of weeks, busking on the streets because "I get this adrenaline rush when people and crowds are standing by," Justus said about playing in public. "I like the people; I like the money too."
Well, here's to you kid. Hope you get plenty more.
(Thank you for joining us on the sunshine train. We'll return to our regularly scheduled assholes next week.)

this kid is my hero.
Wow, look at him go!
Dammit, Ashton Kutcher, stop making me like you!
