What do papercuts, plumbing problems, and puppy-hater Michael Vick have in common?
They've all been blamed on Drew's Cancer.
When Drew Olanoff was first diagnosed with lymph node cancer, he started blaming mundane but shitty things (such as lost keys) on his cancer and he encouraged others to blame with him via Twitter and the hashtag #BlameDrewsCancer. With his creative take on beating up his cancer, over 11,000 people have joined Drew in blaming his cancer for something.
Today, Drew and his crew are hosting a 24-hour Blame-A-Thon for help raise money for battling cancer. All proceeds are headed towards Livestrong.
The blaming began early this morning with a small party at Independent's Hall and continues with a 12-hour concert at North Star Bar, beginning at noon today. The line-up can be found at the Blame-A-Thon website.
Since it's not Philly without a food cart, the Taco Bell Truck will be making lunch and dinner rounds.
And if you can't make it, we'll know who to blame.
