- Tonight marks the return of Marigold Kitchen (501 S. 45th St.), with chef/owner and Villanova native Robert Halpern at the helm. Amongst the yummies Chef Halpern & Co. have in store at the new Marigold: an heirloom tomato and watermelon "martini"; slow braised pork belly; "pork, beans & beer"; and seared squab breast. We want to go to there.
- Adam Ferrara will be at Helium Comedy Club (2031 Sansom St.) tonight, with this year's John DeBella Comedy Competition winner Jim Mirra performing as well. Tickets are $10-$15, and the show starts at 8. 21+.
- Looking for some truly interesting and alternative music? Head to the Danger Danger Gallery (5013 Baltimore Ave.) to check out Crazy Dreams Band, Hex Nine, Serpents of W.I.S.D.O.M., and Truffle Hunter (MySpace). The show starts at 9 and is $5.
