- The author series at McGillin's (1310 Drury St.) tonight features bestselling author William Lashner. Lashner will read from his latest suspense novel, Blood and Bone, which features characters having a drink at McGillin's. The reading/signing is free and starts at 6.
- The New Music Series at the North Star (2369 Poplar St.) features Everyday Rockets, Mount Joy, Animals & Insects, and sezHU. The music starts at 7, and it's $5 for this 21+ show.
- Orbit to Leslie, the side project of Grimace Federation and Downtown Harvest drummer Chris "C Dubbs" Wood, begins a one-month residency at the Fire (412 W. Girard Ave.). They'll be playing the Fire every Tuesday this month. Tickets are $7, it's 21+, and tonight's show starts at 9.
- There'll be an open mic night tonight at Tritone (1508 South St.) hosted by The Absolute Zeros. It's free, 21+ and starts at 7:30.
- Tonight's Quizzo is at: El Camino Real (1040 N. 2nd Street), starting at 9; Fergie's (1214 Sansom Street), starting at 9:30; and Rembrandt's (741 N. 23rd Street), starting at 9.
