- A double-shot of arson news to lead off the afternoon headlines: Two 16-year-old firefighters have been charged with arson and related offenses for a series of small fires in Warminster. More seriously, 23-year-old George Donkewicz—who was already one of the individuals charged in connection with the winter arson spree in Coatesville, as well as two other arsons (one of which killed an 83-year-old Nazi work camp survivor)—has been charged with four more arsons.
- A Delaware man who thought it was a good idea to pull a little home-invasion roberry is facing charges of burglary, theft, and making terroristic threats after being caught while trying to escape and held at bay by his would-be victim and her neighbors until police could respond. That's the "good" home invasion story of the afternoon...
- ...and unfortunately, there's this bad one: A young couple was found murdered, execution-style, in their West Philadelphia home over the weekend in what looks like a home invasion turned deadly.
- Hope you weren't planning to use Exit 3 of the NJ Turnpike this afternoon.
- No more parking on the I-95 ramp to the airport while you wait for the person you're picking up to arrive. Guess you'll just have to drive in circles or pay for short-term parking from now on.
