- We don't know what's more messed about this story—that a local woman was so distraught over her financial hardships that she attempted to pull a murder-suicide on her 30 pets, or that she had 30 pets to attempt it on.

- The city will convert a number of parking meters into post-and-ring bike racks beginning this fall.

Michael Vick was fined a ton of money, and plenty of that went to animal rights groups. I doubt the Eagles would submit to any such shakedown.
