Phillyist's quick-picks for your evening agenda.
- Duane Swierczynski, who has brought Marvel Comics' skull-clad badass The Punisher to Philadelphia in the last several issues of Punisher: Frank Castle, will be signing copies of Punisher: Frank Castle MAX – Six Hours to Kill this evening at McGillin's (1310 Drury St.)—which inspired the "Interesting Times" pub that appears in Swierczynski's Punisher work. Signing starts at 6, and if you buy a copy of Six Hours to Kill, Swierczynski—who, coincidentally also wrote The Big Book o' Beer: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About the Greatest Beverage on Earth—will buy you a pint of McGillins 1860 IPA. (Hat tips to @phillywire and Geekadelphia.)

- University of Pennsylvania professor Richard Beeman will discuss his new book, Plain, Honest Men: The Making of the American Constitution at the Penn Bookstore (3601 Walnut St.) starting at 5:30.
- The wonderfully-named Tough Shits and Love City will be doing a free 21+ show tonight at Kung Fu Necktie (1248 N. Front St.), starting at 8.
