• The number of officers on the injured list concerns Commissioner Charles Ramsey. Nearly a tenth of the force is on the injured list at any given day.
• Did you think that the summer was mild thus far? Well, it's about to heat up. Temperatures are expected to be in the 90s for the brunt of this week.
• An Overbrook woman chased down the man who sexually assaulted her when he reappeared in her neighborhood. Aaron Edwards, a fellow resident, assisted in the chase and the two trapped Jamil Harper, 19, in an alley until authorities arrived.
• The three teenagers who attacked Sean Patrick Conroy in the subway last year will stand trial starting today. Conroy died as a result of the attack.
• Ryan Howard blasted two home runs last night to lead the Phillies to a 4-1 victory over the Atlanta Braves. J.A. Happ tossed 7.2 innings to earn the win.
