About Tonight

Philly Night for About Tonight
Phillyist's quick-picks for your evening agenda.

  • Laugh it up with funny man and friend-of-Phillyist Chip Chantry for "Chip Chantry's One Man Show"—which features way more than one man, we promise—tonight at The Khyber (56 S. 2nd Street). Appearing with Chip will be Johnny Goodtimes, former Phillyist and still friend-of-Phillyist Don Montrey, Chris Cotton, and Carolyn Busa. Show starts at 8(ish), and admission is $5.
  • Feeling like a loving, bromantic night out? Movie Monday at the Troc (1010 Arch Street) features I Love You, Man. $3 gets you admission and a $3 token towards a drink or snacks. Doors open at 6:30, movie starts at 8, and it's 21+ only.
  • Who wants to beat childhood hunger in America and satisfy your own hunger at the same time? Head to Share Our Strength's Taste of the Nation. Tickets are pricey, $75 online or $85 at the door, but you'll get to taste food from some of Philadelphia's culinary heavyweights and specialty cocktails from APO's master mixologists, and it's for a great cause. It's all happening at the Loews Hotel (1200 Market Street) from 6 to 9.
  • Tonight's Quizzo is at the New Wave Café (784 S. 3rd Street), starting at 9.
