- If you're wondering why we at Phillyist did not subject ourselves to G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra in order to bring you a review, well... we tried! But all preview screenings for critics were canceled. So we're not sure how the bums at Cinematical got to see it already. And actually, we're really not sure why studios keep critics from seeing movies ahead of time anymore. Big movies like Transformers or G.I. Joe really don't seem to be hurt anymore by bad reviews. Everybody knows the movie is stupid; that's why they're going to see it! Oh, and yes, Stephen Sommers wants to do a sequel.
