Arlen Specter

  • Joe Sestak will formally announce what the Inqy accurately referred to as "one of the worst-kept secrets in politics": that he will challenge Arlen Specter in the 2010 Democratic primary for Specter's Senate seat.
  • A man's body was found floating off the shore of Ocean City this morning. Medical examination and identification are pending, but it may be the body of a young Philadelphia man who went missing while swimming near the town's Longport Bridge.
  • Man down! Less than a week into training camp, Eagles middle linebacker Stewart Bradley is already out for the season with a torn ACL. [Insert expletives here.]
  • Radnor is beginning a program of trapping feral cats today. The cats' photos will be posted on the town's website before they are transferred to the Delaware County SPCA. What will happen to the cats at the SPCA "is unclear," which, sadly, probably means it's not good.
  • Abington residents, beware. You've got a naked clothes thief in your midst.
